D. Ann Williams (they/them) is a queer Black American writer, freelance editor, authenticity reader, Associate Agent at Emerald City Literary Agency, and former writing coach for We Need Diverse Books Black Creatives Revision Workshop. They’ve dabbled in writing off and on for the past twelve years and is currently taking courses at UCLA Extension to hone their craft.

They are currently working on a historical mystery, a queer small town romance, and contemporary YA. They are the recipient of the 2021 Eleanor Taylor Bland Award from Sisters in Crime, 2022 Tin House alumni, and Voodoonauts Fellow. Originally from SoCal, they now live in Eugene, OR where they spend their days reading, writing, and taking photos.
